Bus Advertising - Interior & Exterior
Student & Community Ad-Ucation Programs
Roadmark Mobile Media, working in close partnership with School District Administrators all over the country, is establishing America's largest inventory of interior and exterior school bus advertising programs ever to be offered for local, regional or national advertisers to use for communicating "child sensitive"' business promotion and educational messages.
Much like State and Federally subsidized public transit systems have done for years, Board's of Education are now realizing the necessity and value of offering their school bus fleets for advertisers to use in tasteful and responsible ways as a revenue generating mechanism to help offset the ever-growing expense it costs them to provide their students school transportation, higher quality education and extracurricular activities.
Obvious to everyone, school bus promotional message content must be child sensitive, non-offensive, non-contraversial and in superior good taste... subject to each school Board's close scrutiny and final approval, but the advantages to advertisers who comply with these rules is HUGE.
Interior school bus ads (placed over the seats) expose and influence every student who rides the bus to-and-from school every day. Exterior school bus ads reach and expose not only students and parents, but everyone in every neighborhood (community-wide) as buses circulate to pick up or drop off students each day (morning, mid-day and afternoon prime drive times).
To simplify and standardize this program nationally, we have standardized the size and positioning of school bus signs uniform to all school bus manufacturers 'legally available spaces'. We have standardized our sign production specifications (using pressure sensitive BusMark vinyl materials) and we have standardized our space advertising rates (for both interior and exterior space rentals) for those advertisers who wish to contract multi-market campaigns.
Interior signs are 12" x 26" pressure sensitive materials, placed inside the buses on the roof over the school bus seats. Exterior signs are 18" x 48" or 18" x 96" pressure sensitive materials, placed on the driver's side or passenger's side positioned between the front and rear wheels and below reinforcement rails. Depending on each school bus fleet's manufacturer/s configurations (Thomas, Blue Bird, International, etc.) and DOT regulations (one-state-to-another) some other custom sizes and positions are available, market-by-market.
Two costs are involved. Advertising space rental fees & sign production costs (including installation and removal expenses). Space rental rates are discounted for quantity or long term campaigns. Sign production is charged separately and materials must comply with our specifications. All advertising message copy / content is subject to the final approval of each school district's Board of Education (coordinated by us).
